CFA Society Toronto, in collaboration with Mink Learning, hosted another 2-Day Private Equity Bootcamp on July 8th and 9th, 2026. Led by Steve Balaban, CFA, the program brought together finance professionals for two days of collaborative discussions, hands-on exercises, and practical private equity case studies designed to connect theory with real-world investing.
Throughout the program, attendees:
1. Worked through how private equity firms identify, evaluate, and structure investment opportunities.
2. Explored due diligence frameworks using practical investment examples.
3. Examined value creation strategies that help private equity firms maximize returns throughout the investment lifecycle.
Building on the momentum of the community established through previous Toronto events, including Mink Learning’s first Holiday Party, the bootcamp continued bringing together professionals eager to deepen both their private equity knowledge and their professional network.
