AgWest, in collaboration with Mink Learning, recently brought back its impactful Investment Readiness Program to Saskatoon in May 2025. This follows a successful initial program in December 2023 and focuses on preparing agri-food and ag-tech companies for investor engagement.
Led by Steve Balaban, CFA, of Mink Learning, the program’s recent iteration kicked off with an intensive Day 1 Investment Readiness Bootcamp. This session was designed to help associations and companies clearly and concisely communicate their value to investors. Day 2 was then dedicated to personalized one-on-one meetings, allowing participants to customize and deepen their understanding of the topics from Day 1.
The program delivered targeted support through this structure:
- Equipping companies and associations to clearly and concisely communicate their value propositions to investors.
- Customizing and applying learnings from the bootcamp through focused one-on-one advisory sessions.
- Strengthening participants’ overall readiness for effective interactions with potential investors.
The Mink Learning team is already looking forward to continuing the engagement with Day 3 and Day 4 of the program, scheduled for June 19th and 20th.
