CFA Society Germany, in partnership with Mink Learning, hosted a successful 1-Day Private Equity Bootcamp at their Frankfurt office back on January 26th, 2023. Led by expert instructor Steve Balaban, CFA, the workshop attracted a diverse group including family offices, members of Germany’s vital Mittelstand businesses, private equity firms, and advisors.
Participants explored key private equity concepts and practices, including:
- Understanding the rationale and methods for incorporating alternative investments and private equity into investor portfolios.
- Defining and distinguishing between the crucial pillars of commercial, financial, and legal due diligence.
- Delving into the specifics and application of each type of due diligence in the investment process.
The bootcamp was very well-received by attendees, so much so that the organizers were invited back to deliver the program again in 2024.
