CFA Society Luxembourg partnered with Mink Learning to host an intensive 1-Day Private Equity Bootcamp on January 24th, 2023, at Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg. Led by Steve Balaban, CFA, using his interactive teaching style, the session was tailored for an audience primarily comprising family offices, wealth managers, and investment oversight professionals.
The bootcamp focused on the practical knowledge and skills needed to effectively invest in private equity and advise clients on navigating the asset class, such as:
- Being able to understand and communicate a private equity fund strategy efficientl
- Understanding the various private equity fund structures availabe to clients
- Best practices used to negotiate private equity deals
The event was successful, and based on the positive engagement, the organizers were already looking forward to returning to Luxembourg with the program the following year, in 2024.
